vivo X80 Pro: Cinematography Redefined

Design

The vivo X80 Pro comes with a dimensions of 6.48" x 2.96" x 0.36" with a 92.2% screen display ratio. It has 3D curved corners that helps in better grip while complementing the aesthetics. The front features a tiny punch-hole inside the top notch that houses the 32-megapixel portrait camera and a 3D Ultrasonic Large Fingerprint Sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds!

The phone comes in Cosmic Black colour and has a slight sparkle in the finish when exposed to bright light. The Fluorite AG glass on the back and the Schott Xensation Up scratch protective glass over the display have curved sides which meet the aluminium-alloy frame, which also has a matte finish for a luxurious look. The back of the phone has a large 'window' for the cameras aesthetically placed.

The vivo X80 Pro packs a 6.78" Quad HD+ E5 AMOLED display with 3D curved corners, 1-120Hz LTPO variable refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate, MEMC and has minimal bezels.

The 3200*1440 resolution makes it QHD+, more detailed than even many other flagships. Thanks to using the latest LTPO 3.0 display tech, the phone vivo X80 Pro has scaled up the refresh rate from 1Hz all the way to 120Hz for optimized power consumption.

Camera: Your Story Told, Cinematically

With vivo X80 Pro camera, you can turn your everyday life in a blockbuster. vivo X80 Pro features a quad rear cameras that includes a 50MP camera with 1/1.3″ GNV sensor, f/1.57 aperture, LED flash, OIS, 48MP ultra-wide camera with IMX598 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 12MP 50mm 2X portrait camera with IMX663 sensor, f/1.85 aperture, gimbal stabilization, 8MP periscope camera, f/3.4 aperture, OIS, 5x optical zoom, 60x super zoom.

Astro mode and a Supermoon mode for taking some excellent shots of the night sky. Cinematic video mode that takes a wide cinema-style aspect ratio at 24fps with a bokeh effect.

Long Exposure mode, Double Exposure mode, and a Dual View mode that lets you record video on both the front and rear camera.

Performance

 vivo X80 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, The most powerful Snapdragon chip available in phones right now.

It comes paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage, though that's the only option you get. The phone is fast, fluid, and responsive no matter what you throw at it, and will be a great choice for multi-tasking or intense gaming.

Battery

The vivo X80 Pro has a 4700mAh  battery. The phone comfortably lasts through a day and battery life stretches to the second day as well even with an always-on display, high refresh rate, and max resolution.

Even better, with the fast charging on offer you won't need to plug the phone in overnight anyway. The 80W wired charger supplied with the phone is the key with charging upto 60% in 15 minutes, and 98% in 30, so you could probably plug the phone in while you shower and get a full day's battery.
