MediaTek has unveiled its flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset, featuring over 3 million AnTuTu score. Built on TSMC's 3nm process, it is 40% more energy efficient than its predecessor. The octa core chip, with a 3.62GHz ARM Cortex-X295, improves single core and multi core performance by 35% and 28%, respectively. The new ARM 12-core Immortalis-G295 GPU boosts ray tracing by 40%. It supports 8K video recording at 60fps, full-range HDR zoom, and enhanced 5G speeds up to 7 Gbps.

The Dimensity 9400 will be available in Q4 2024, with the Vivo X200 series being the first to use it, launching on October 14 in China.
