Google has announced an AI powered system called AirView+ in India, which provides real time, hyperlocal air quality data. This system uses AI to process large amounts of air quality data and share actionable information with government agencies to help address air pollution. Google has partnered with climate tech firms and IIT researchers to install air quality sensors in over 150 cities. These sensors measure pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, CO2, and NO2, providing detailed data.

The information will be used by local governments to improve air quality management and will also be available to the public via Google Maps.
