My name is T. Sai Vardhan, and I bought the Vivo X100 for 60,000 rupees. My intention was to use Vivo's innovative hardware and camera technology — but my experience with Funtouch OS has been very disappointing. I don’t want to argue here, I simply want provide guidance that could put Vivo on the map in the smartphone domain.Reasons Why Funtouch OS Disappoints Me:

Flagship devices feel stuttery and laggy.

Funtouch has terrible software optimization.

Cheap or broken animations and transitions are not appealing.

The camera software does not make the most of the hardware.

Slow battery drain and poorly optimized charging.

Inaccurate display color tuning.

Outdated for 2025 not having proper AI features.

Lacks a smart ecosystem like Samsung or Apple.

Funtouch has no innovation, feels like they’re stuck in the past.

No clean experience with excessive bloatware.

Poor UI design that feels unstructured and chaotic.

“Flagship-level” features are absent.

Lacking basic functions such as call recording, scheduling, customization, et cetera, or these functions are broken.

There’s no standout feature that would convince a consumer to purchase a Vivo phone.

Why This Stands Out To Me:

While my friends picked up the Samsung Galaxy S23, iPhones, and Pixels, I chose to spend ₹60,000 with Vivo. They now make fun of my choice as their software is far better and cleaner. Despite the hardware of Vivo X100 being great, people don’t respect it because of Funtouch OS.

I personally felt hurt and regret the decision, but only because of the OS.

This is something I believe can change with Vivo. You just need to listen and act.

Usage based battery optimization — AI

Pixel-level UI, customizable like One UI, no bloat

Voice Control and AI Summaries

Hand Guided Gesture controls

Clipboards that sync between devices, smart ones

Full theme, icon, font, UI colors, and brand-free color restrictions

Desktop mode like Samsung DeX

Frequent software updates and upgrade the Android version provided.

My Request to Vivo:

If the Funtouch OS becomes powerful, AI-driven, smooth, and innovative, I will never think about buying iPhones or Samsung ever again. I would confidently say "Vivo is the No.1 brand" and even help change people’s perception to purchase it.

If all other brands' best features were combined alongside a more advanced AI, better battery, camera software, user interface design, and overall speed, you would easily beat everyone —Apple, Samsung, Google, Huawei.

No other brand has done this all-in-one approach and if Vivo is the first, they can lead in the market.
