The World Athletics Championships 2025 javelin final lived up to its billing of intensity and rivalry. Neeraj Chopra, already a world champion in 2023 and silver medallist in 2022, entered Tokyo chasing a third consecutive podium finish. Alongside him, Sachin Yadav’s strong qualifying throw boosted India’s presence in the final. Pakistan’s Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem and Germany’s Julian Weber were formidable challengers, while Grenada’s Anderson Peters brought extra heat. After two rounds, Sachin held 4th, Neeraj 8th, and Nadeem 10th, leaving the contest wide open. The evening promised drama, history, and a potential India vs Pakistan showdown on the world stage.

Do you think Neeraj can script history again and bring home another World Championship medal?
