Before you dive into the exciting world of OriginOS Beta, its important to be prepared.
Beta versions are all about testing new features, which means they can be fun but also a little unstable at times.
To make sure your experience is smooth (and stress-free), here are a few things you should check off your list first. ✅
- Don't use your main phone, Beta can be buggy. If possible, test it on a backup device.
- Charge fully – Keep the phone 100% charged before updating.
- Free up space – Make sure at least 10–15 GB storage is free.
- Back up data – Save photos, contacts, and chats to Google Drive or VivoCloud. Updates may wipe your data.
- Update current system – Install the latest stable software first.
- Check rollback option – Download the rollback file in case you want to go back to stable later.
- Be ready for bugs – Expect lags, crashes, or heating. Don’t panic, it’s normal.
- Learn how to report issues – Note down steps, screenshots, and share bugs clearly with the Vivo team.
- Join official channels – Stay active in the Vivo Community/Telegram for updates and feedback.
- Patience is key – Features may come and go; it’s about testing, not perfection.
