While tourists flock to Ponmudi, Bonacaud remains a mystical, offbeat destination known primarily to locals and serious explorers for its abandoned estate vibes and the gateway to Agasthyarkoodam.

Bonacaud offers a hauntingly beautiful landscape of ruined colonial bungalows and sprawling tea estates often swallowed by thick mist. It’s the "hidden" hill station of Trivandrum that requires an insider's curiosity to visit

5, My favorite thing about this city?

The way the day ends at Kovalam. 🌊 Whether it’s the iconic red-and-white lighthouse standing tall or the rhythm of the Arabian Sea, this coast is where I find my peace. The heart of Trivandrum

Standing tall since 1972, this red-and-white icon is my favorite part of the city. There’s no better feeling than the salty breeze on your face and the endless blue of Kovalam stretching out before you. 🌊💙
