Hello vivoicers,
What's happening on the other side?
A warm welcome to the world through vivo's lens captured by our very own vivographers and vivoxplorers while they circumference the planet.
This special edition will take you through the whereabouts of the very famous "Pushkar Fair" popularly and natively known as "Pushkar Mela" with Vineet Vohra.
Vineet's style of photography and storytelling is unique in its own way. His subjects are candid and his style is street. Now let's unfold his experiences of the Pushkar Fair caught through his vivo X80 Pro.
The Pushkar fair is one of the largest camel, horse, and cattle fairs in India. Apart from livestock trading, it is an important pilgrimage season for Hindus to Pushkar Lake.
Given the cooler season and the abundance of colourful cultural themes, the Pushkar fair has also become a significant tourist attraction for both domestic and international visitors.
Dances, tug of war between men and women teams, the "Matka phod," the "longest moustache" competition, the "bridal competition," camel races, and other cultural events and competitions are held.
The Pushkar Fair is operational only for a limited period of time mostly in the months of October or November so check the dates before you plan to visit.
