vivo’s upcoming true wireless earphones will be unveiled on March 26th. vivo will release vivo TWS 4, vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi and vivo Pad3 Pro. The vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi boasts a unique feature, it offers a brand new audio chip manufactured by Qualcomm.

vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi comes with Qualcomm’s latest S3 Gen 3 audio chip

Qualcomm has not officially unveiled its new audio chip, Qualcomm S3 Gen 3, it is now known that the vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi will feature the S3 Gen 3 chip. Two different earphones will be introduced, namely vivo TWS 4 and vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi. However, only the Hi-Fi edition will feature the S3 Gen 3 chip, while the standard vivo TWS 4 comes with the Qualcomm S3 Gen 2 chip.

When Qualcomm introduced the S3 Gen 2, it significantly improved audio latency compared to the predecessor. While the audio latency was 80 ms in the S3 Gen 1, it was reduced to as low as 20 ms with a dongle in S3 Gen 2. It is expected that S3 Gen 3 will have even better latency rates.

vivo TWS 4 is expected to have a total battery life of 45 hours, providing continuous playing time for up to 11 hours on a single charge. The features of the vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi are currently uncertain, but we can expect its battery performance to be similar to the standard TWS 4 model.
