vivo and Zeiss have signed a new joint R&D expansion agreement to enhance their collaboration in mobile optics. This partnership aims to create a sustainable innovation ecosystem and develop advanced imaging solutions. Since becoming strategic partners in 2020, they’ve made significant strides in mobile imaging technology, including the development of Zeiss optical lenses, coatings, and the Zeiss APO Super Telephoto lens. 

vivo has also been advancing its self-developed imaging chips, with four released from 2019 to 2023. The company introduced its self-developed imaging technology "IP - Blueprint Imaging", part of Vivo’s blue technology matrix, which will be featured in the upcoming X series developed with Zeiss.

vivo’s approach to imaging combines self-research and joint research, fostering a sustainable and spontaneous innovation ecosystem. They remain committed to exploring mobile imaging and enhancing user experiences.
