Dear Vivo Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention some serious performance-related issues I’ve been facing with the Vivo T3 Pro, which I purchased on January 5, 2025. Initially, the device performed very well, especially in gaming. However, over the past few weeks, the experience has significantly deteriorated.

---

🔍 Key Issues:

1. Frequent lag and touch response delay during gameplay (especially noticeable in Free Fire).

2. Device temperature reaches 43°C within 5–6 minutes of gaming, triggering throttling.

3. The refresh rate automatically drops to 60Hz, reducing smoothness.

4. Touch sampling rate becomes unresponsive during heat build-up.

5. Free Fire often closes automatically, especially when the animation mode shifts to “Efficiency.”

6. Despite setting animations to “Comfortable,” the phone frequently switches modes on its own.

---

📊 My Observations:

When the phone was new, there were no such issues, even after long gaming sessions.

I have come across multiple user posts in the Vivo Community reporting similar lag and heating problems with the T3 Pro.

Interestingly, Vivo’s V-series models (like the V30 and V40) also use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, but seem to perform more consistently in comparison.

This raises a concern that perhaps the T3 Pro is being limited via software to highlight the V-series lineup, which would be disappointing for customers who bought this device primarily for performance.

---

🛠 What I’ve Tried:

Enabled Ultra Game Mode with performance settings.

Set the device to 120Hz refresh rate manually.

Disabled battery saver, background apps, and cleared app cache.

Tried both “Comfortable” and “Efficiency” animation modes — neither consistently solves the issue.

---

📩 My Request:

I would appreciate it if your technical team could:

1. Investigate the thermal throttling sensitivity on this device.

2. Provide a software update or firmware fix to stabilize gaming performance.

3. Offer a way to lock refresh rate and touch sampling during gameplay.

4. Clarify if there is any deliberate performance limitation on the T3 Pro vs other models with the same processor.

---

This is a great device on paper, but currently it's not living up to the potential of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. I hope Vivo will take this seriously and respond with a solution, as users lik

e me rely on your brand's trust and consistency.

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely

Krish,

A concerned Vivo t3 pro user
