Blurry photos can ruin an otherwise perfect moment — but the good news is, you can easily fix it by following these tips:
1️⃣ Use the Right Shutter Speed-
✓Keep your shutter speed at least 1 / focal length of your lens.
✓Example: Using a 50mm lens? Use 1/50 sec or faster.
✓For moving subjects, go even faster (e.g., 1/250 sec or more).
✓Use both hands, tuck your elbows close to your body.
✓Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart for stability.
✓Gently press the shutter button — don’t jab it.
✓Many cameras and lenses have OIS/EIS.
Great for handheld low-light shots — reduces handshake blur.
✓Take multiple shots quickly — at least one will be tack-sharp.
✓A slightly noisy photo is better than a blurry one.
✓Raise ISO so you can use a faster shutter speed in low light.
✓Use single-point AF for still subjects, continuous AF for moving ones.
✓Half-press the shutter to lock focus before fully clicking.
✓For night shots or long exposures, use a tripod.
✓Or rest your phone on a wall, table, or bag.
✅Result:
✓Clean it! Smudges can make photos look soft or hazy.
