A True lession by Raghav Ralhan

In our last Trailblazer meetup - we had an amazing Masterclass with travel photographer Raghav ralhan.

What a masterclass it was - Truly amazing.

Being a photographer you know the basics .... But he told us "Anyone can take still shots ... But what makes you different is your perspective".

Oh got this line hits me so hard ...... But you have to add a bit of creativeness along with the perspective.

Eye candy

We had a great session, evaluate each other's pictures figure the opportunity areas which can be improvised and a lot of fun elements.

And suddenly my eyes got stuck on a picture captured by Raghav ( a still of safdarjung tomb but the creative elements is the multiple light rays around the tomb - I'll attach that picture at the end )

And it seems like I got my opportunity area.... As I have less experience in long exposure photography so here we go.

Visuals

Raghav told us how he captured these type of shots.

He shared his manual settings with us .... But the cherry on a top is Vivo device is already offering you a long exposure mode which can cover all the manual elements buly itself.

Then he told us the secred trick to get that rays effect - cover the sensor when you got the main subject and only expose it to the remaining light elements  which will work as a rays - and move your camera rapidly.

And here we go ..... I tried this trick on my last visit to qutubminar and it did wonders.

Here are the results-
