From Kumartuli's brush to Kerala's sacred fire, Maa Durga arrives this year in a radiant new form - through the mystic dance of Theyyam. Two traditions, two lands, one spirit of Shakti - where devotion becomes dance, and the goddess reveals Her many forms among us.


At Kolkata's 66 Pally, step into a pandal that is not just an art, but a living confluence of cultures. Witness the grandeur of a Durga pratima inspired by Theyyam, alongside daily live Theyyam performances - an unmissable experience where Bengal meets Kerala in the rhythm of divinity.


My vivo X100 gave its all to lock those vibrant energy within frames. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to visit Kerala or witness Theyyam in my lifetime, but 66 Pally has fulfilled a part of that wish by bringing it here. Heartfelt thanks to the Puja committee for giving us this opportunity. Here are glimpses of the frames I took during Durga Puja at Kolkata's 66 Pally.
